Can you believe it? We can write a blog on the top 10 Norfolk beaches? Who would have thought there were that many beaches around this flat piece of land!

Whether it be a bank holiday weekend or a couple of days of forecasted sunshine there isn’t anything better than dipping your toes in the sea, walking miles for an ice cream and spending an afternoon at the beach.

 

Hunstanton

Running from Old Hunstanton all the way into the new town, this stunning sandy beach is also home to Hunstanton Sea life Centre and a funfair which is why it is one of our top 10 Norfolk beaches.

 

Wells Next To Sea

With its picture perfect harbour and mini train to take you to the stunning dune filled beach it isn’t hard to see why Well Next to Sea is one of the top 10 Norfolk Beaches.

 

Great Yarmouth

Bring back all of the nostalgia with the traditional sea front and the iconic Pleasure Beach, Great Yarmouth beach pulls in the tourists year after year and this firm favourite makes it one of the top 10 Norfolk beaches.

 

Cromer

Next on our list of the top 10 Norfolk beaches is famed for its Cromer Crab, and is the perfect place to have picnic and while away the afternoon with a walk up to its well-known lighthouse.

 

Sheringham

Calm, quiet and tranquil Sheringham Beach is the perfect place to take a good book and spend some time soaking up the sunshine with the sand between your toes it really is one of the top 10 Norfolk beaches.

 

Brancaster

A known bird watching site with quiet natural dunes you can easily get loose yourself as you experience everything this stunning West Norfolk beach has to offer and is one of the top 10 Norfolk beaches.

 

Happisburgh

Normally famed for its resident Owls’ one wouldn’t necessarily think of Happisburgh in the first instance when talking about the top 10 Norfolk beaches. But make that mistake at your own peril with its dramatic cliff line and stroking lighthouse it is one not to miss.

 

Caistor on Sea

Next on our list of top 10 Norfolk beaches is Great Yarmouth’s neighbour and popular holiday resort Caistor on Sea. It’s Georgian Beach has been pleasing thousands of visitors for decades.

 

Waxham

Famed for its elegantly sandy beaches, Waxham beach makes it into our top 10. You may even get to spot the odd seal or two off shore!

 

Overstrand

Located on the North coast of Norfolk our final entry on our top 10 Norfolk beaches is Overstrand. It is just a mere 2 miles from Cromer, has amazing coastal walks and a delicious beach café called The Bucket List.
