  • Keys: Collected from Concierge on arrival.
  • Door & Building Codes: Sent directly to your registered email or booking platform before check-in.

 

PARKING

  • Free on-site parking is available. Spaces are limited and subject to availability.

FOOD AND DRINK

  • Breakfast is not included. We no longer offer vouchers, but there are plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance.
  • Tesco Express is right next door for essentials.

KITCHENS

  • All apartments include a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, and cookware.

 

GYM & FITNESS

  • A 24-hour fitness centre is available to all guests.

 

PAYMENTS & DEPOSITS

  • A refundable security deposit is taken when booking and returned after housekeeping checks (if no damage).
  • Stays are charged automatically to the card on file. Please ensure sufficient funds are available before arrival.

 

HOUSEKEEPING & SUPPLIES

  • Towels & Linen: Fresh sets at check-in. Extra sets available on request (charges may apply).
  • Cleaning: Standard housekeeping is after checkout. Mid-stay cleans can be arranged for a fee. Guests staying 5 nights or more receive a complimentary weekly clean.
  • Laundry: Some apartments have washing machines (subject to availability). Please let us know if required before booking. Guests provide their own detergent. A laundrette is also available at Jenny Lind Estate, NR1 4HW.
  • Starter Supplies: Tea, coffee, toiletries, and bin bags provided. Guests top up as needed.

 

POLICIES & RESTRICTIONS

  • Visitors: Only registered guests may stay overnight. Day visitors welcome but must not exceed apartment capacity.
  • Noise: Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
  • Parties: Strictly prohibited. Breach may result in deposit loss and removal from property.
  • Smoking: Number 82 The Unthank is strictly non-smoking throughout the inside.

 

UTILITIES & APPLIANCES

  • Heating/Hot Water: Each apartment has individual heating controls (no built-in cooling). Fans available on request.
  • Fuse Boxes: Inside wardrobes. Only reset if confident – otherwise, contact us.
  • Iron & Ironing Board: Provided in every apartment.

 

Security & Safety

  • CCTV: Monitored 24/7 in communal areas.
  • Safes: Not provided. Keep valuables with you or locked securely.
  • Fire Safety:
    • Fire alarm panel is located in Concierge.
    • Fuse boxes are in wardrobes.
    • If alarm sounds: evacuate immediately via the nearest exit and call 999. Do not use lifts.
    • Broadland Guard may be on-site after hours and can assist if needed.

 

Travel & Local Area

  • City Centre: 15-minute walk / 5-minute taxi.
  • Train Station: Norwich Station is a 10-minute drive. Buses and taxis nearby.
  • Shops: Tesco Express (next door). Sainsbury’s (5 minutes by car).

 

ACCESSIBILITY

  • Some apartments are wheelchair accessible. Please confirm at booking if required.

 

PETS & CHILDREN

  • Pets: Allowed for £10 fee per stay.
  • Travel Cots/Highchairs: Available on request (subject to availability). Please email ahead.

  • Windows: All apartments have opening windows.
  • Cooling: Portable fans available in summer (on request).
