Jorge’s

Hidden away on Orford yard, next to the bus stops and Nandos, this little gem is easy to miss – but well worth keeping an eye on. A relative newcomer to the streets of Norwich, it has already seen praise in the local news for its mouth watering, authentic tapas and other Portuguese delicacies. The staff are known for being very welcoming and attentive to their customers and will take their time to explain every dish that’s put before your eyes.

Pinocchio’s

Pinocchio’s is a local favourite, and a great place to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays and graduations. A cosy Italian with delicious food such as pizza, risotto and lasagne, it is beautifully decorated with murals that make you think that you’re sitting down in Italy. And don’t forget the Vino! They also have an excellent wine list. This restaurant is guaranteed to hit the spot for both comfort and style.

Figbar

Figbar serves decadent treats that will make anyone give up their diets. It’s a restaurant that only serves desserts – whether their high concept ‘plates’ or their delicious cakes – and is beloved by every Norwich resident with a sweet tooth. What makes them even sweeter is that for every signature ‘Snickers’ dish they serve, they donate £1 to Norwich food bank.

Salt

Another new entry to the Norwich scene is Figbar’s sister restaurant, Salt, which only serves savouries. If you want an amazing evening eating out, you could even stumble from one to the other! Salt has already made a splash for excellent quality food, including plated dishes like carpaccio and a selection of salads that are anything but boring!

Namaste

Last but not least is one of Norwich’s favourite vegetarian restaurants, which is so popular that it now has 3 locations. Their gobi and dosas are particularly tasty. Best of all, they have one ‘all you can eat’ event at the start of every month! This generous restaurant also has its own cookery school, so you can learn how to make some of its delights at home.
