We have highlighted some of the egg-citing events taking place over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend during your stay at Number 10 The Abbey.
 
Thursday 29th March will see you arrive at Number 10 The Abbey where you and your family will check in to your stylish and elegant apartment with Easter Egg Treats waiting for you! Once you are settled in, head into Wymondham to explore the local surroundings of our historic market town. Meander through the stunning gardens next door at Wymondham Abbey and visit the local shops in the town. Finish your day of Easter in Norfolk by heading over to the Green Dragon or Number 24 for a delicious meal.
 
Friday 30th March sees the arrival of Good Friday and what better way to spend your Easter in Norfolk than spending today visiting one of our National Trust Parks. Located along the North Norfolk Coast just 1 hours drive away, Felbrigg and Sheringham are hosting the Cadbury’s Easter Eggstravaganza, join in the easter egg trail and many other activities taking place in the beautiful grounds the parks have to offer, there is something for all the family.
 
Saturday 31st March is host to the Easter Egg Hunt and Craft Fair taking place at Central Hall in Wymondham., within walking distance of Number 10 The Abbey. Get the kids ready this Easter in Norfolk and collect your map from the Star Throwers stand at the Spring Craft Fair, follow the trail around the local area for clues and return your completed form to claim your Easter surprise! This event runs from 10.30am – 2.20pm and all proceeds go to the local Charity Star Throwers Support.
 
Alternatively hop aboard the Easter Eggspress Train at Dereham Mid Railway Station a short drive from Number 10 The Abbey for an Egg-citing trip with the Easter Bunny and grab the chance for your little ones to meet much loved characters Peppa Pig, Paddington and more throughout the day.
 
Sunday 1st April leads us next door from to Number 10 The Abbey to Wymondham Abbey at 9.15am where they will be hosting their family friendly Easter service with posies, children’s orchestra and simnel cake. Then head over to the River Bure and take part in the Easter Egg Canoe Safari and explore the Norfolk Broads by Open Canoe this Easter In Norfolk!!
 
Monday 2nd April will see your last day with us here at Number 10 The Abbey, we highly recommend you head over to Wroxham to end your Easter in Norfolk and jump aboard the Easter Cruise along the Norfolk Broads where you and your family can take part in a Nature Quiz, Easter Egg Hunt amongst other activities whilst listening carefully to the live skippers commentary for any clues along the trip, the children will receive an egg!
